d) Important Policy!
BUSH FIRE WATCH AND ACT POLICY
The bush fire watch and act policy is when you're not fire ready and didn't get notified about the fire approaching.
WATCH: You see the fire and the fire is heading towards your direction.
ACT: You've seen the fire, and you need to act now to survive.
There is nothing else you can do, this is basically last minute. You can't protect your house and your belongings. You just have to protect your self from the risk of a fire.
This will give you some hints and tips on what to do, so you don't panic like a maniac.
NOTE: Majority of deaths are to people who leave late or getting caught in their car and suffering from smoke inhalation or extreme heat.
Just remember always be fire ready, get your survival kit ready and you should always have a back-up plan.
You don't want this scenario to happen to you and panic at the last minute and not knowing what you are doing.
This will normally happen in the severe, extreme and catastrophic category in the fire danger rating scale.
